Business-seller terms
Welcome aboard!
We love having small businesses, vintage dealers, resellers and makers on Amazesomebody. These terms are here to keep things fair and simple for you and your buyers. No jargon, no hoops.
Are you a business seller?
If you regularly buy, make or source items to sell for profit, you’re a business seller. If you’re just clearing out your own stuff, you’re a private seller and none of this applies to you.
Getting set up
Just switch on a Pro account and tell us:
- your business or trading name
- a contact email and address
- your VAT number, if you have one
That’s it. We’ll pop a little “Business” badge on your profile so buyers know who they’re buying from. Keep your details up to date and you’re good to go.
Listing your items
Sell what you like, as long as it’s allowed on Amazesomebody. Just be honest:
- describe items fairly, flaws and all
- use clear photos
- show the full price
Please don’t sell fakes or anything unsafe. Simple as that.
Looking after your buyers
Because you’re a business, UK law gives your buyers a few extra rights:
- 14 days to change their mind after receiving an item, for a refund
- Items should be as described and in good condition
You’re welcome to offer more generous returns if you like. Happy buyers come back!
Fees and getting paid
Our fees are shown on the Pro Fees page, nice and clearly. Once an order’s complete, the money lands in your balance and you can withdraw it whenever you want.
Tax
You look after your own tax. We may share basic sales info with HMRC where the law asks us to, and we’ll let you know what we need.
Being a good neighbour
Reply to messages when you can, send orders on time, and be kind. Keep payments on Amazesomebody so everyone stays protected.
If things go wrong
Everyone has off days. If there’s a problem, we’ll talk to you first and help put it right. We’ll only step in further if something serious happens or keeps happening.
Leaving
You can switch off your Pro account anytime, once any open orders are wrapped up.
The small print
- The sale is between you and your buyer, and we’re here to help if needed.
- If we update these terms, we’ll give you a heads-up.
- These terms follow the laws of England and Wales.
