Moving house
Back in 2025, our founder was moving house. Boxes everywhere, tape running out, and a wardrobe that simply wouldn’t fit in the van. Most of it was perfectly good stuff: shirts he’d worn twice, a coat he’d been meaning to love, trainers that never quite fit. Binning it felt wrong.
- One evening
“Help yourselves.”
So one evening, he threw together a little website and sent the link to his mates: “Help yourselves.”
- Then
Word got round
They did. Then their friends asked if they could have a look too. Then their friends’ friends.
- Before long
Amazesomebody was born
Before long, that scrappy little site had a life of its own, and Amazesomebody was born.
Every item that finds a new home is one less thing heading to landfill, and one more person getting something they’ll actually use.
