Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no to advertising: it stays off unless you switch it on yourself, and your visits are counted as page views only, never as a visitor.

Changing your mind

Press Cookie choices at the bottom of any page. When you switch a category off we stop using it straight away and delete what we can: our own cookies and stored items go at once. Google's advertising cookies belong to Google's own sites, so we can't delete them for you; you can remove them in your browser's settings, or at adssettings.google.com.

We keep a record of each choice (what you chose, when, which version of this policy, and a random reference) to show we asked properly. It isn't used to follow you. Our privacy centre explains your other rights, and the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) has more about cookies.
