Marking photos as AI-generated

If any photo was made or changed with AI (for example a generated model or background), switch on “Mark photos as AI-generated” when you list the item.

Buyers then see an AI-generated label on the item card and the item page. The choice is saved in the listing's history.

AI photos must still show the real item. If an AI photo hides the item's real condition, colour or size, the item counts as significantly not as described and the buyer gets a refund.

If members report unmarked AI photos, our team may add the label or hide the listing.
